Coming to Oualidia, at the end of the coast road.

Finding your way
A strip of land, two breaches, and the kasbah above.
Oualidia is a natural curiosity: a lagoon sheltered from the ocean by a strip of land pierced by two rocky breaches, through which the tide flows in and out. The house stands in the old kasbah overlooking the lagoon, just above the former royal summer palace — on the medina side, you enter through a flowering garden.

By road — three ways in
From Marrakech
Allow around 2 hrs 45 on the road. You leave the inland plains, meet the ocean again — and the last kilometres follow the coast to the lagoon.
From Casablanca
About 2 hrs: the road runs along the ocean, passes El Jadida, then the coast road carries you down to Oualidia.
From El Jadida or Safi
Around one hour, from either side: Oualidia sits halfway along the coast road, facing its lagoon.
From the airports
Two airports, one shuttle in your name.
Oualidia can be reached from Casablanca Mohammed V as easily as from Marrakech Menara. On request, the house arranges a private shuttle from either one: tell us your flight, and the coast road takes care of itself.
